Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO Dana White speaks at an election night event for President-elect Donald Trump West Palm Beach, Florida on Nov. 6. Facebook and Instagram parent company Meta has named White to its board of directors.

White’s election as a Meta director two weeks before Trump takes office comes as Silicon Valley is courting the incoming administration.
